Group of soldiers of Number 41 Column, 2nd Battalion, King's Own,
April 1944, in Burma.
On the left is Lance Corporal Albert Halsall, who, within a few weeks, won
the Military Medal in command of a Vickers Machine Gun position covering
the withdrawal of the 2nd Battalion from the defensive position called
'Blackpool Block' on 24th May, 1944.
