Absent were Captain Beresford (Padre), Captains Warren and Martin and
Lieutenant Beesley.

Group of soldiers of the 1st Battalion in Palestine in 1944.
Included in the group is Private Robert Huddleston who had served in Malta
with the 8th Battalion and later served in Italy with the 1st Battalion.
