the support trenches at St. Julien, Ypres Salient, Belgium, 1915.
Sergeant Mann is shaving Corporal Brierley. The soldier in the front
centre is unknown, Private Fuzzy can just be seen behind him. The
two men in the centre of the photograph are Sergeant Williams on the left
and Sergeant Noble on the right.
1st Battalion's Rest billets at Grand Rabeque Ferme, 2nd
March 1915. The farm was totally destroyed in the German advance of
1918.
