1st/5th Bn, King's Own in France - Groups - September 1918, Page Two

On 2nd September 1918 the official army photographer took photographs of the 1st/5th Battalion, the first of their kind, the battalion was based at Drouvin Camp near Bethune, France.  The museum sadly does not have a full set, and the ones held are sadly rarely captioned.

Number 11 Platoon, 1st/5th Battalion.
Accession Number KO0439/11

Number 12 Platoon, 1st/5th Battalion.  The officer, seated fourth from the left, is 2nd Lieutenant Wyke.

C Company Headquarters, 1st/5th Battalion.  The officers, seated in the centre are 2nd Lieutenant Wyke and Captain W N Briggs.

Unknown group of 1st/5th Battalion.  Lance Corporal J R Banks is front right, on one knee.  The officer seated fourth from the left is Lieutenant Turner.
