If visiting the museum in person with an enquiry an appointment will be required to ensure that the curator is available.  The museum is open Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm, except for the period between Christmas and New Year.
 

The enquiry service is free, however, donations are welcome.  By people making donations we are able to keep the enquiry service free.  The Museum is a registered charity, number 272109.

  The museum receives no funding from the King's Own Royal Border Regiment, the Army or the Ministry of Defence.
 It is supported by Lancaster City Council and Lancashire County Council.
